Rule #3 of Love -Everything is in Godly Remembrance

When you have nothing else to do, think that everything around you is absorbed in Godly Remembrance – Kamlesh D. Patel

The bees, the birds, the trees, the animals, the minerals, the sun, the moon, even the air and atmosphere, and all of humanity – deeply absorbed in Divinity, in the peace, and love of the Source of all creation. I am talking to the atheists too. Whether it is God or not, there must be a point of origin for all creation. It did not just spring forth. Even if it just did, out of sheer nothingness, like this physicist Lawrence Krauss says in his book here, it still is ‘something’. So, let all creation remember its Source. Let us all remember our origin!

And Shams of Tabrizi in his rule #3 of love, said exactly the same thing, though in his language and cultural context.

You can study God through everything and everyone in the universe, because God is not confined in a mosque, synagogue or church. But if you are still in need of knowing where exactly His abode is, there is only one place to look for him: in the heart of a true lover.

And if everything is absorbed in HIS remembrance for me to perceive so, of course GOD is present everywhere and nowhere too. He is in my heart and yours too. Every plant has an origin – a seed. Every mineral has a substrata. Every animal has grown from that single cell – that egg, if I may.

And now what is God? What is that Divine Remembrance?

God is a fantasy, said a great spiritual saint, Lalaji Maharaj from Fategarh, Uttar Pradesh, India.

And the English dictionary says fantasy is an imagination unrestricted by reality. Can I imagine the Ultimate to be ‘this’ or ‘that’? Oh no, I cannot. The Source of ‘all’ creation is way beyond just a Jesus, Allah or the pantheon of Hindu Gods. The Source of all creation is not a concept for just atheists or believers.

It is but a mere fantasy, now. Humanity does not yet have the knowledge to fathom the Source of all creation, in space, of all the trillions of galaxies. Heck, we do not even know our own galaxy in entirety! So, we can at the most fantasize! And we can also fantasize of the Source of all that creation, cant we? That in itself would require enormous creativity and intuition!

So this concept of believers or atheists do not exist in the grander scheme of things. It is like my son said the other day – “Ma, space is infinite, but it is not incomplete nor endless. It is like the ant perceives this earth to be infinite, doesn’t it? And it is true too, for the ant. But this planet is not endless or incomplete. So space is infinite, but not endless.”

Have you watched the final scene in the movie, Men In Black? It gives a more intuitive comprehension of what I feel like sharing.

Here it is –

Perhaps, Infinity is merely that beyond which you cannot comprehend or fathom, or fantasize. Surely either more is there beyond that. Or perhaps, nothing. When we reach there, we would know.

So, what is God? What is Divine Remembrance?

God is just positivism! God is just the single point Source from where Creation sprang forth. God is peace and love. God is that sweet hug you receive from your baby. God is the joyful heart that beats within you, when you meet your Beloved. God just IS. And that IS all the things which makes your life meaningful and worthy.

And perhaps, God is something beyond all of that, beyond even Infinity or Fantasy, which we cannot fathom about, even if explained or taught or shown. So, let us not worry about atheism or belief.

So, in my free time, and yours, like Shams of Tabrizi says, let us suppose God in that true lover’s heart, and may all of creation be true lovers of God.

So, let us fantasize that all of creation is happy, joyful, at peace, in love with …  and of course deeply absorbed in Divine Remembrance (whatever that Divine means for you).
